While we're building our new website, here is what
you MUST (!) know about the Olney School of Dancing:

Lynette House became principal in the late 1980s, taking over from the school's founder, Mrs Marjorie Fifield. Over the years, hundreds of children from Olney and the surrounding towns and villages have learned ballet, tap and folk dancing in the safe, friendly and professional environment that the school affords.

Lynette is a fully-qualified teacher of Ballet, Tap, and National Dancing, registered with both the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. You can be sure that YOUR child will learn from an expert, in a school that puts the safety and well-being of its pupils first.

The school is well-equipped with its own mirrors and barres, and a good modern piano. And rather unusually these days of iPods, it has TWO musicians who play for classes - Lydia, who plays for young children's classes, and Lynette's husband who is a professional ballet musician, plays for examinations sessions.
